South Spring Valley Extrication/Rollover 06/24/09

3 Car accident. 1 SUV rolled ( multiple times) According to some bystanders upwards of 5 times. 1 partial ejection. SSV on scene for extrication of woman who's leg was partially trapped underneath the vehicle. 15 + patients taken to hospital including "walking wounded", 6 of whom were small children.

13:57 Dept 2 for Extrication TZ Bridge Westchester Bound Mid Span
13:59 2-2 Responding - Control advises EMS Units responding from both sides
14:01 44-5 In Service
14:05 2Rescue and others staging dockside awaiting instructions
14:10 Bridge is being shut down south only - Westchester units coming north in the southbound lanes - Thruway Authority will not shut down the northbound lanes.
14:33 2-2 Finally has arrived and establishing command
14:34 All Dept 2 Units Signal 14

West Nyack Unusual Rescue 06/12/09

1920: Clarkstown PD on scene at the Palisades Center Mall 2nd Level Parking Deck with an occupied van wedged/stuck on the ramp leading to the 3rd floor.
1953: West Nyack FD requested to the scene to cut the door off of the van to remove a person still inside, not pinned, not injured.
2001: 24-Rescue on scene.
2016: 24-Command reports Signal 11.
2018: Medics & 105 requested to the scene, subject extricated has stomach pains.
