The Rockland County Volunteer Fire Services Museum Looking For Your Photos

The Rockland County Volunteer Fire Services Museum is looking for old photographs, slides and negatives to add to the museums collection. If you are not willing to part with your photos, slides or negatives, consider lending them to the museum to have them scanned digitally. The museum is in he process of procuring a high quality scanner to scan and preserve all the museums photos, slides & negatives digitally. These digital images will be available to all departments & fire companies to use for their own historical archives or anniversary celebrations.

2106: Spring Valley FD requested for a possible structure fire at 19 North Main Street.

2107: 17-1 in service from Dept. 1's area. 17-2 & 17-2 also in service.

2108: 17-6, 17-Tanker responding. Control advising they just received the Automatic Alarm from 21 North Main Street.

2109: 17-2 on scene establishing Command. SVPD reporting an electrical fire, requesting the FD respond via North Madison Ave. RPD toning out Medics & Ambulance for standby.

2115: 17-Command requesting a retone for a confirmed fire, also requesting South Spring Valley FD with a F.A.S.T. Team to the scene. Op's on Ch.3

2119: 44-4, 44-5 & 44-12 all responding.

2136: SVPD requesting the Red Cross to the scene.

2151: 17-Command reports Signal 11.

0602 - Dept 6 and 24 pumper to the scene, Dept 8 pumper to standby at 9-100

Aprox 1630: Nyack FD & Piermont FD for the Automatic Mutual Aid F.A.S.T. Team operating at a working house fire at 19 Prospect Street.

10-Command putting Piermont FD to work, now requesting Central Nyack FD with a F.A.S.T. Team to the scene.

10-Command requesting Valley Cottage FD with a Ladder & Congers FD with a Pumper to cover the Catherine Street Firehouse.
