Spring Valley FD was requested to 71 South Madison Ave for a reported garage fire.

Control advised SVPD was receiving numerous 9-1-1 calls reporting a working fire. Best access to the garage was off Ridge Ave, not South Madison Ave.

Dept 25 dispatched to a chimney fire at #4 Nicole Way 1822hrs

Upon arrival found top of chimney fully involved and fire spreading to the structure.
2 lines were put into operation and the main body of fire was knocked down quickly

Great job by everyone on scene could have been a lot worse if this was later in the evening.
